Credentialing Assistant

This position will provide administrative support for the Credentialing Coordinators and to the Licensing Manager. The Credentialing Assistant plays a critical role in the functioning of the Licensure section. A successful candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, able to work independently and adapt to changes. New hires are eligible for our robust benefits package upon their start date. This position may require mandatory overtime during certain times of the year

Responsibilities:

Scans and uploads section mail.

Processes NPDB and FSMB reports.

Downloads NCCPA scores, USMLE transcripts and ECFMG status reports, and FCVS profiles.

Mails fingerprint cards to the SBI.

Processes criminal background check reports.

Verifies sleep tech registrations monthly; provides administrative support to applicant inquiries.

Provides logistical support for scheduling licensing interviews, testing in MS Teams with applicants, and providing administrative support to the interview group.

Assist in processing Resident Training License applications.

Supports the administrative needs for the Licensing Committee during bi-monthly Board meetings.

Runs weekly and monthly reports to support the Licensing Manager.

Provides administrative support to the Licensing Manager.

Other duties deemed necessary by the Licensing Manager.

Must be detail oriented, able to adapt to frequent work interruptions, handle multiple tasks, prioritize tasks, make independent decisions, demonstrate flexibility and meet deadlines.

Demonstrate the ability to work as a team member within the Licensing Section

Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with personnel and applicants at all levels

Proficient with Microsoft office software. Experience with MS Teams a plus.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED required.

3 – 5 years of administrative experience required.
