Perfusionist Advisory Committee Meetings

The Perfusionist Advisory Committee (PAC) may conduct investigations into alleged violations of the Perfusion Licensure Act, and if necessary, conduct disciplinary hearings to determine the validity of any allegations that a perfusionist may have violated the Act. The PAC currently holds meetings twice a year.

Notes on Closed Session

(1) Closed portions are to prevent the disclosure of information that is confidential pursuant to Sections 90-8, 90-14, 90-16, or 90-21 ad 22 of the North Carolina General Statutes and not considered a public record within the meaning of Chapter 132 of the General Statutes.
(2) Closed portions are to consult with the Board’s attorney in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the Board.
(3) Closed portions are to consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of appointment, or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee.
(4) Closed portions are to establish or to instruct the public body’s staff or negotiating agents concerning the position to be taken by or on behalf of the public body in negotiating (i) the price and other material terms of a contract or proposed contract for the acquisition of real property by purchase, option, exchange, or lease; or (ii) the amount of compensation and other material terms of an employment contract or proposed employment contract.
(5) Closed portions pursuant to Section 143-318.11(a) of the North Carolina General Statutes are to consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of appointment, or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee.
