The August episode of NCMB's podcast, MedBoard Matters, explores a new eight-part series of continuing medical education (CME) modules developed by NCMB in partnership with Wake AHEC and the UNC Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program at UNC Chapel Hill.
The series is designed to meet the one time training requirement for all DEA registrants to earn eight hours of CME in the treatment of opioid use- and other substance use disorders that was approved as part of the federal Medication Access and Treatment Expansion (MATE) Act.
