July-August Digital Forum

In this issue of the Forum we formally announce that NCMB is launching a podcast in fall 2020! Readers are invited to suggest topics they would like to see covered. We also discuss how NCMB is operating virtually amid the ongoing pandemic and warn licensees of a sophisticated scam that involves one or more individuals posing as NCMB officials or DEA officers. Also find the latest Board Actions Report and the most recent COVID-19 guidance from NC DHHS.

May-June 2020 Digital Forum

This edition of the digital Forum includes two messages motivated by recent national events, including the death of George Floyd and the unrest that has followed it. It also congratulates two former Board Members, Dr. Cheryl Walker-McGill and Dr. Barbara Walker on their leadership positions with the national Federation of State Medical Boards Board of Directors. In addition, physicians are encouraged to apply by July 1 to be considered for a seat on NCMB, and NC DHHS has updated clinical guidance for COVID-19.

March-April 2020 Digital Forum

This issue of the Forum is primarily dedicated to the rapidly-developing coronavirus pandemic. It includes a double dose of messages from NCMB President Bryant A.
